In Chinese, 序 (Xu) means prologue — a quiet, composed entry point. Blended from Okumidori and Yabukita cultivars and grown in the lush terroir of Shaoxing, Zhejiang, Xu offers rare harmony between stability and vivid green brilliance.

Ultra-finely milled (>1000 mesh), Xu whisks effortlessly into a smooth, silky froth. The cup opens with a clean, refreshing aroma, followed by mellow bitterness, soft umami, and a lingering, balanced finish — no harshness, no astringency.

#02 SEN — Forest

A quiet forest in every cup.

Grown under shade in the golden tea belt at 30°N latitude, Sen captures the feeling of walking through a misty forest after rain. Its vivid emerald color, refined freshness, and smooth umami depth make it a grounding yet expressive matcha.

Compared to Xu, Sen carries a slightly deeper bitterness and brighter green tone, while remaining smooth and gentle on the palate. Ideal for daily whisking, lattes, or mindful sipping.
